Don't know if you monitor OpenAI's announcements but in my opinion they are doing a disservice to themselves and their brand.
The first time was with the announcement of GPT-4.o.
And a few weeks ago, with the announcement of operators and agents.
Both times, they introduced groundbreaking technological innovations as if it were no big deal. From their office. A super basic presentation on a TV screen. Or, in the recent case, a few people casually sitting and doing a demo...
I don't run the marketing at OpenAI. However, why miss the opportunity to maximize exposure and make the most of these moments? Especially now, when competition in the industry is fierce and money clearly isn’t an issue.
With a product like this, the presentation should match the innovation. Otherwise, you're not just underselling the reveal—you’re leaving impact on the table.
Don't do that. Don't miss these opportunities.
