Let's welcome Ciprian Sorlea to talk about how vital presentations can actually be for business in 2019 / 2020.

20 episodes are now a fact! For this one it was important to dig deep into essentials, so we talked with Ciprian Sorlea, CTO of Nordlogic Software about how vital presentations are for his work, and for doing business in 2019.

More about Ciprian…

He is passionate about technology and people and spends a great deal of time getting the two to play nice together. All with the intent of building great software products.

As an employee, consultant, and business owner, he had the great opportunity to work with and for companies ranging from Startups to Enterprises. Ciprian builds products used by most of the Fortune 100 companies. For over 20 years he wrote software, recruited, coached, and managed several hundreds of talented engineers, designers, and managers. He brought tens of products to life. And he loved (almost) every bit of this.

Currently, Ciprian is driving the Technology & Product Development strategy at Nordlogic Software, as its CTO.

Everything starts with how you present a new idea.

Being able to present a new idea to your team or to a client is the first and most fundamental skill of employees, upper management, or entrepreneurs.

They should either leave with more answers or more questions.

Sometimes after a presentation, Ciprian tries to flip things around by giving people more questions to leave with instead of answers. This triggers their basic human curiosity and constant desire to search for new solutions and improve.

Ultimately, presenting something is an act of sales.

Any presentation, whether it’s internal or external should be considered as a sales act. You should always ask and listen to your “customers” and understand what they want, so you can meet them in between and deliver what they need.
