Train The Trainer at SoftUni (Mistake 35 of 50): Not Sure In Your Demo
In the previous post we discussed a quick tip to help you make your demos even easier for your audience to grasp! Now a big one again…
Mistake: Saying that you are not sure if your demo will work!
Why is this a problem: If your demo doesn’t work you will immediately lose a ton of credibility. There is just no excuse for you anymore to not show a working “version” of your demo. Sounds crazy to you? Read below.
Solution: Prepare your demo. Rehearse it numerous times. Then when you are sure in it, figure out how and what you need to do in order to ensure that if your machine fails, you are able to deliver it again. Do that and once you are ready, create screenshots of each major step of your demo and then a video(screen capture) of it. Have all those files on at least 3 different mediums. That’s called professionalism!
Here, now you are 35 steps closer to becoming a great trainer. ?
