Easier said than done

Easier said than done

As we work on the new branding for the 5th edition of our event Present to Succeed, the phrase “easier said than done” came to mind—and it got me reflecting on presentations.

How often do we sit in an audience and think the presenter could have done better? But when it’s our turn on stage, are we any better? We notice when someone else’s microphone ruins an online session—but have we checked our own? We offer feedback to others, yet how often do we fall into the same traps ourselves?

Talking is easy. Doing is hard.

The next time you present, take a moment to ask yourself—am I doing better?
