Lessons learned from Slush Conference 2024

Lessons learned from Slush Conference 2024

Slush—the leading startup event in the Nordics and, in our opinion, one of the most beautifully executed. While the keynotes attract crowds, the side events are far more interactive, often featuring numerous audience questions.

As a presenter, always repeat audience questions so everyone can hear, especially in rooms without audience microphones. We recently attended an otherwise excellent session where the speaker didn’t do this, leaving half the audience unsure what was being addressed.

Lastly, if you're not using your own computer, ensure your company fonts are embedded or installed on the event PC. We’ve highlighted this issue before, but Slush is another reminder it’s worth mentioning again.
