Take the decision to care about design

Take the decision to care about design

Last week during one of our courses with one of our clients, we got this question again:

How do I build beautiful slides when I don't know what beautiful design is?

The answer is - you make it a priority to learn what beautiful design is. It really is that simple. And it doesn't really matter if you are a tech person, a product manager or whatever your role is. Your end goal is not to become a designer. Your end goal is to train your eye on beautiful design.

So how do you do it? Well, we have been sharing some of the top presentations out there for the last few weeks here and we have some more coming. However, spending 30 minutes per month (!) to browse websites like Behance, Dribbble and Awwwards is not a bad idea either.

All in all, look around. There are tons of ideas you can take from an architectural project. In the same way you can inspire yourself from the latest collection of a top fashion brand. And that's just the start.

Your turn now. Think of a moment where something outside of your work influenced you to do something in your work differently. What was it?
