Have you seen this during a demo?

Have you seen this during a demo?

Have you ever watched someone giving a demo and noticed that their cursor size is larger than usual? Like in this talk?

But why would a presenter increase their cursor size?

Because, for some demos, it’s important for the audience to clearly see where the presenter clicks.

So, should you do the same for all of your presentations? Not necessarily. However, if where you click plays a crucial role and helps your audience better understand what you’re presenting, then it’s something worth considering.

How do you do this?

  • On a PC - go to the Start menu and search for Mouse Size.
  • On a Mac - type in Pointer Size in Spotlight.

Pro tip: You can also change the cursor's colour for better contrast.
