Have you ever wondered how to replace all the fonts in PowerPoint at once? Wonder no more! We at our presentation agency got you covered on this one. Microsoft has this cool feature called Replace Font. As you can imagine, it allows you to replace all the occurrences of a font in your presentation with one click. So how to work with this tool properly?
Let us show you:
1. The tool can be found in different places on the different versions of PowerPoint. For example:
• PowerPoint 2007, 2010, 2013, 2019 – On the ribbon in the Home tab, you will find the Replace button, which has an arrow for a drop-down. When you click on the arrow, you will see the Replace Fonts function.
• PowerPoint 2003, 2016 – Click on Format in the menu bar, and then you will see the Replace Fonts option.
2. After choosing the Replace Fonts box, you need to select the font you want to substitute from the list of fonts that you have in the presentation.
3. Then, under the With the drop-down menu, select the new font that you want to use.
If you don’t know how to install your new font, you can check this article here!
4. Finally, click on the Replace button to perform the action. Now all the text in your presentation should be transformed with the new font.
5. If you want to change other fonts as well, repeat the process.
And for a finale, just a little tip from us. Bear in mind that not all fonts share the same sizes. For example, if you take a size 20 Arial font, you will notice it differs from French Script MT size 20. Nevertheless, always check the font sizes after you make a replacement!
