Selection Pane: Layers Inside PowerPoint
Overloaded and complicated slides might be a real pain! Especially in the cases when you have multiple objects that are one on top of the other. Sometimes it can get even harder to select the exact object you want.
However, there is a solution – the Selection Pane! It allows you to see all the objects in the slide, hide, show and select them on all layers of the slides.
To open Selection pane:
1.Home tab
2.Arrange (Or Select)
3. Selection Pane

Once you click on it, you will see a new tab on the right where all the objects on your slide are listed with small eyes next to each one. If you click on them, you can hide some objects in order to work on other ones and then show them again. Do not worry – hiding objects will not change their position on the slides, neither will it remove them.

What else you can do is move objects in the front (on top of the others) or backward (behind the others).

You can also rename each object, so if you have a lot of animations on your slides, for example, the objects will be named, and it will be easier for you or the people working with the presentation to navigate through them.
Be careful with the naming, though! The names of the objects stay in the file when you are sending it!
