Speaking at Microsoft Ignite 2016
Microsoft Ignite 2016 is the biggest, most important yearly conference in the world! A conference that is attended by more than 20 000 people (yes, you read that right) and has the best (and in hundreds) speakers from the whole world.
This year, I am happy and feel privileged to share that 356labs will speak at Microsoft Ignite 2016. We are going to deliver two sessions:
- Live Presentation Transformation: From Boring to Effective – in this one, we will go completely demo only! We will take the typical badly designed slideshow and teach how everyone (non-designers too) can create stunning, yet effective slides for their presentations
- Sway: The Interesting New World of IT Presentations – and in this one, we will show how Microsoft Sway can be used to deliver a top rated IT talk. Many people still don’t know about Sway, so we believe it’s time for them to learn about it.
So wish us good luck and in case you are going to be at the event – let us know here in the comments!
P.S. To all of our Bulgarian friends – we will organize an event to share the experience and the learnings immediately after we get back from Atlanta! Stay tuned.
Update 1: Obviously, оur first session got some serious attention because just a few days ago Microsoft emailed us to ask if it would be possible for us to deliver it twice in order for them to be able to handle all of the attendees that want to see it. Of course, we agreed without even thinking about it. 😉

Hi Boris,
Cool talk, enjoyed the content very much!
Where can I download the Microsoft Ignite PowerPoint template?
If it’s not possible, could you provide links to a couple of complete templates that you personally find being good and follow most of your recommendations?
Hey!
Thanks for the kind words!
The Microsoft’s template is not for public use unfortunately.
As for other template that I would recommend – I will have to disappoint you. There are incredible amount of free & paid templates out there. However, back to what I said on the session – a template has to reflect your needs(!) and what’s more a – a proper template is not just a bunch of slides.
That being said – I just can’t recommend you any template because I don’t know what your needs are.
If you want us to continue the discussion, ping me at boris@356labs.com. Would love to help in any way possible…
