Train The Trainer at SoftUni (Mistake 6 of 50): The Notifications

In the previous post from the mistakes we saw during the train the trainer course, I mentioned the screensaver problem. Now, it’s time to take a look at another famous one!

Mistake: Some notifications pop up on the screen during the talk

Why is this a problem: The major reason that is a problem is because it distracts the audience from the flow of your presentation. Another one is because, hey, who knows what notification can pop up? Thus, if something inappropriate pops up during your presentation and your audience sees it, it can ruin your authority and put you in a very uncomfortable position.

Solution: Disable all notifications. On a Windows machine, just go to the Start menu and type Notifications. On a Mac, just disable them from the Notification center. (Macs disable all the notifications when you are connected to a projector by default, but I would disable them manually too, just to be on the safe side).

Here, now you are 6 steps closer to becoming a great trainer. ?
