Akkodis is a global engineering and technology consulting company formed through the merger of AKKA Technologies and Modis. The new organization combines engineering expertise with digital and IT solutions to support leading technology companies worldwide. Our team has previously collaborated with Modis on a sales deck which helped them secure a major deal that brought 70+ new team members to their organization. The newly formed Akkodis team approached us again to create their new sales pitch.
Process
With our deep expertise in the IT industry and familiarity with Modis' offerings, we embraced this new challenge from a blank slate. Working closely with Akkodis, our goal was to create a versatile document suitable for both prospective and existing clients. The sales deck was designed to be flexible, allowing the sales team to customise content for different audiences. Additionally, we developed a simplified, presentation-friendly version. The process was clear: document first, slides second.

Storytelling
In this collaboration, we stayed true to fundamentals. Rather than recycling old slides, we started fresh. Content came first, followed by design. This “by-the-book” approach ensured a strong foundation before our design team stepped in.
Akkodis' brand identity was already well-established. However, we took the opportunity to enhance the brand’s visual appeal specifically for the sales presentation, while staying true to the guidelines.
Using PowerPoint’s native animation tools and the Morph transition, we introduced subtle motion to highlight key points and elevate the presentation above competitors.
Ultimately, we leveraged specialized compression software to optimize the file, ensuring that it was reduced to the smallest possible size without compromising quality. This allowed us to export it as a compact PDF that maintains its visual integrity. Beyond this, we utilized our eye-tracking software to confirm that the content was not only visually appealing but also adhered to an effective hierarchy and optimal readability.
